LURIK Woven Striped Pillow in Red

Introducing LURIK, Central Java's very own traditional fabric. Lurik which means "Stripes" in Indonesian Language, is a traditional woven fabric which only has plain stripes and checkers pattern in its design. 
 
Back in the old days, people in Central Java only wear Lurik pattern - style with Batik Sarong -  for their clothes to reflect simplicity, kindness, and their humble personality. That's also the reason why most traditional Lurik fabric always appear in soft and simple colors.
